How Docking Buddy Collects and Uses Phone Numbers for SMS

Consent and message purpose

Docking Buddy is a business-to-business dock scheduling platform. Phone numbers are not collected from the public or from drivers directly — they are entered by an authorized facility employee or by the carrier/customer's own dispatcher, only when scheduling a specific, confirmed dock appointment on behalf of that driver, who is their employee or contractor. By entering a driver's number, the submitting business confirms the driver has agreed to receive SMS updates about that appointment from Docking Buddy.
